If you have a "perfect bracket" and play each and every team once and only once, then all games will count in the standings.
If you have a bracket in which every teams plays ALL other teams twice, then all games will count in the standings.
If you have a bracket in which you play every other team at least once, but you play some, but not all, of the teams twice - then ONLY the first game you play against an opponent will count in the standings.
If you have a bracket in which you play every other team at least twice, but you play some, but not all, of the teams three times - then ONLY the first 2 games you play against an opponent will count in the standings.
The "Rule of Thumb" is: If you play every other team, in your bracket, an equal amount of games, then all the games will count. If, due to the bracket size, you can not play each and every other team in your bracket an equitable number of times, then only the games played equally, in each round, will count.
QUESTION? What if my first game of the season against an opponent was rescheduled to the last week of the season? (And I'm in a bracket where I play this team twice, but not every team twice) ANSWER: This game would still count in the standings as it was originally scheduled to be the first game.
